There comes a stage in many marriages where both spouses are expecting to be catered to or each person is waiting for the other person to initiate sex. While that is ok, it is also very juvenile. Initiation does always mean great sex or that the spouse wants to have sex, often times the initiator is only initiating to keep the peace.
